He C&J 235 in Polish nationals at 94 being still 18. He was crazy but injuries exclude him in being one of the best in the sport. In later years, he never come back to his 100% strenght and health (I believe that he had 3 back and 6 knee surgieries during his whole carrer). For me he had perfect C&J technique, his effieciency was out of this world (best front squat 240 and best comp C&J 232.5)!
Leviathar says
He said his back squat was 260×4 as pr, and other 94´s being close to his clean and jerk would usually do 1-3 reps on 300
deadlift4life says
260×4 as weightlifter (they are better with reps than powerlifters) puts him around 275-280 1RM, so he had definitely place for improvement He was also so emotional with his lifting, after injuring himself at 227.5 attempt at 2000 Sydney Olympics he was devastated, it’s so hard for me to watch this, because he is my fellow countryman (44:15) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUZRnQKAbqk

i Read somewhere that in some training comp in polska weighing like 99 KG he made 195 and 240 in the late 2000 or early 2001, he was just untouchable

Szymon Kolecki: Huge Lifts, But Back Problems Continue
Lifting in a small meet, Poland’s Szymon Kolecki kicked off the year with a huge 195-kg snatch and a 240-kg clean and jerk, prompting informed speculation that he was on course to break the world record in the clean and jerk in the 105-kg category. Unfortunately, the back problems that have been hampering what would otherwise be a brilliant weightlifting career recurred and Kolecki, at the moment at least, will not start at the upcoming European Weightlifting Championships (Kiev, Ukraine), saving himself, instead, for the Olympic Games this summer in Athens.
