I think the log lift has soared because only recently have their been full time pro strongmen. Kaz was a powerlifter. Svend was a bodybuilder. Most came from other strength sports where they built a base but only picked up strongman recently in their lives. Big Z has been kicking ass in the sport of strongman for well over a decade. So in addition to being uber strong he’s also got an unprecedented level of mastery for the movements specific to strongman.
