Log Press time at the 2012 World’s Strongest Man.
Zydrunas Savickas and Mike Jenkins were the only ones who took a shot at 220kg World Record Log Lift.
Big Z got it. 2.5kg up from his previous record.
According to Randall Strossen, Mike came close, but couldn’t fininsh the lift.
At 210 kg four guys were still in the race. See results here.
Anyway, 220kg for Big Z.

Mike Jenkins was soooo close. He was in the process of locking out and lost his footing just enough to lose the log forward

Mike jenkins has really came out of nowhere this year, he looks bigger and leaner then I remember him. Whatever he changed up it is working.
Michal Samo Ráchela says
Out of nowhere? He was leading the last year after the first three events before he had to withdraw… He also finished second at Arnolds in 2011…
