62/69/94/105/+105kg Winners Highlights
Still waiting for footage of Liao Hui whose ban was reduced and ended 30.09.2012.
According to Peter in the comment section here:
WOW! LIAO HUI ATTEMPTED 200 KG and ALMOST GOT IT. lost it in the jerk and was VERY close to lockout.
Most of the athletes took a long break and are only at 80-90% of their capabilities looks like two years of uninhibited training (ahem) did him good.
105kg: Zhe Yang (born 1991) got 226kg in the Clean and Jerk (breaking the national record). He supposedly totaled 416 kg which would mean 190kg Snatch!

must be really cold in the stadium
Petr C. says
http://totallympics.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=3877&pid=196175&page=4 None of the sessions was broadcasted live. 56 & 85 kg classes were broadcasted as replays, 77 kg class appeared in the CCTV archive today. Didn’t see Liao Hui’s 200 kg and can’t find any video, TV showed only his 188 c&j attempt. Peter was probably quoting this news report “第三把200公斤,廖辉把杠铃举过头顶,有些支撑不住,向前移动了两步,把杠铃扔了下去。”
Roberto Rosario says
“with Lu Yong only getting 186kg C&J on his third attempt.”
Seriously? Injury? Or what? He wasn’t even that far off when he bombed out at the Olympics. Troubling for a career that should have had years left.
:S
Petr C. says
According to his words, he’d been training just 3 weeks before the championships. Recovery from his injury was probably that long.
steven says
is liao hui still a 69’er? I need to see that 200kg video
Steve says
soon the 200kg cnj for the 69kg will fall…
happychineseboy says
back before the 08 olympics zhang guo zheng clean and jerked 200 kg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA36OUZQy7E 2:20 is when he approaches the bar
i also think liao hui alreayd hit 200 in compeition but the record was removed when he was caught cheating
Steve says
Yeah I saw that quote too, where Liao Hui supposedly attempted the 200kg CNJ (and 166 snatch.)
Guess we’ll see when the 69kg is posted, awesome stuff.
sporting says
China needs to send Lu(one of) to 85 and spread out the medals.
Daniel Jørgensen says
Whats up with Xiaojun smiling and wawing all the time – ladies?
Leonid says
Is it me or do they setup really wide in their bottom positions?
Nick says
gotta do something about the 77’s being stronger than the 85’s! Seems like its time for one of them three to start eating up!
Jeff says
I thought they both (Especially Xiaojun) looked a bit heavier than 77 here actually (I know they competed at 77).
Ruslan says
tian tao is up at 85kg and his elbow is not healed up all the way though. Only 1 attempt at 185 clean and jerk. When he heals up he might be a force to be reckoned with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=oBwa1Yw_X-8#t=3176s
200kgs says
someone please upload 69kg competition. also why is it that china doesnt have any good 85kg+ lifters?
Dustin Oranchuk says
190/226 @ 105 is pretty good
thedouchesenser says
the 188 by liao hui looked ridiculously easy. really hope someone can find the 200 attempt by him.

Dewski says
77kg video has commentators having a comment about Sa Jaehyouk… apparently in bad condition?
GregorATG says
Did they talk about his elbow dislocation in London?
Dewski says
No specifics.. It’s when LuX is sitting in a squat in the hallway before his 205 (1:15:20). They said he deteriorated fast, too old. Maybe 3 years ago he could have competed but now, no way.
