If I was only watching this footage I’d think the IWF was absolutely right. This is a piss poor level here in Europe. Of course because of the Asians it was a bad decision.

Yes but it is not piss poor. Let’s just call it below par. I suggest 147 CJ is pretty good for 55kg athlete. Why anyone good should enter this category when there is no chance of going to Olympics with limited spots available. Kudos to Micro for winning gold for himself and Italy.
Also, many countries do not want to get caught again doing. Perhaps they did not bring their best athletes.
I like IWF to announce officially how many athletes each countries are allowed currently before going through their qualification maze. For example: Can Russia qualify six or Turkey 2, etc.
