Got a new toy.
30kg weight vest. I already own two 10kg vests that were pretty cheap and poorly fitting. So this felt like a necessary upgrade.
Dips feel really good with it. I used to do them with a diy dip belt, but I like how the weight vest distributes the load and makes it more top heavy (instead of pulling from your hips).
What do you like more, weighted vest or dip belts?
I have a weighted vest (30kg) and it has served me well over the years. I need to bring it back into my training actually! I used to do weighted hill sprints with it! Brutal.
Hill sprinting with a 30kg vest would amount to hill crawling for me.
Recently (re)discovered some pretty steep hills here. Going to give these a try to kick my ass (unweighted first).
