Adrian Zielinski 175kg Snatch 210kg Clean & Jerk 2013 Polish Weightlifting Championships

September 14, 2013 By Gregor Winter

Meanwhile in Poland …

Adrian Zielinski just lifted at the 2013 Polish Weightlifting Championships.

Adrian went 6/6 with 165,170,175kg in the Snatch and 190,200,210kg in the Clean & Jerk.

Clarence Kennedy commented on the ATG Facebook Page that:

I heard Zielinski is in very good shape, recently he power cleaned and jerked 200kg in training. Marcin Dolega is also very strong 200/230 in training recently.

Update: Marcin Dolega was also in top form. 192kg Snatch (missed 202kg behind) and 230kg C&J (missed 237kg). Video of Marcin’s lifts here.

C&J Side View

Thanks to Markus for recording and editing the video so quickly.

And by the way props to the Poles for having a multi camera live stream.

Wow ..never has to go really deep in both catch (sn+cj) and jerk. Quite impressive. Wonder who can challenge him at worlds.

His 190 clean, as power as can be, he caught it above parallel and I think went down only to be safe he doesnt miss it, he didnt need it at all. 85 is going to be something!!! Get your popcorn ready folks, haha.
Also watched the 105 (is Kasabyev now a 105 or just didnt quite get under 94? I think the latter, he looked strong if he was just over 94.and not fully 105) and 105+,(Dolega indeed in a good form)

Adrian was 90,80kg in this competition and need to lose 5,8kg before Worlds. Kasabijew Arsen was 95,20 and did 6/6 lift with 165-170-172 and 205-213-217 and looks to be back after London. Bonk 102,50kg did 175-180-185 and 210-215x-215x to take the gold from Kasabijew. Dont forget Dolega Marcin at 108.00 with 187-192-202x and 221-230-237x, and Czekiel Kornel 106,50kg with 172-177-178x and 211-220-225.

Going to be hard to take out the 105kg lifters from Poland to the world, and who of the lifters that needs to lift in the 105kg+ with Klicki krzysztof or Dolega Daniel. Only top lifter that was missing at the Polish Weightlifting championships 2013 was MICHALSKI Arkadiusz in the 105kg.

From the lifting at the Polish Weightlifting Championships, the team from Poland is most likely to be:

      77kg:
      ZWARYCZ Krzysztof
      85kg:
      ZIELIŃSKI Adrian
      94kg:
      Kasabijew Arsen
      ZIELIŃSKI Tomasz
      105kg:
      BONK Bartłomiej
      DOŁĘGA Marcin
      105kg+:
      CZEKIEL Kornel
      KLICKI Krzysztof/DOŁĘGA Daniel

It is great that Bonk recovered so fast. He was out of training atleast for half a year (if not something close to year) due to complications with birth of his daughter (Said it on TV as he was guest of news TV’s because of suing hospital).
