Ridiculous strength! Though not as impressive as Vlad Lukanins 305 with no wraps!

No need to take away from a world class lift by comparing it to other lifts: they are about equally impressive. Lukanin’s 305 sans wraps is the all-time WR, and Nikulin’s 325 with wraps is 6 lbs over the all-time WR. Also, Nikulin’s was done at the end of a workout, not fresh at a meet. Nikulin is a much better all around lifter–Lukanin benches and deadlifts about what I do, while Nikulin pulls over 700 raw and has a pretty decent raw bench as well. So, Lukanin is more of a squat specialist when it comes to PLing, although it looks like he’s moving back to weightlifting now that his doping suspension is over. Interestingly enough, while he was suspended for popping positive, he got a new job: he is some sort of administrator in the Russian anti-doping organization. 🙂

Was not trying to take anything away from Nikulin! Was just talking specifically about the squat and expressing my personal opinion on it! BTW Lukanin has also done 300 with stop and 305 in a workout.. Also, I’m a weightlifter/weightlifting fan, so it never even occurred to me to consider their numbers in bench and the deadlift! 😉

Point taken! And for the record, I’m the one who uploaded the video of Lukanin’s 300 and 305 that was featured on ATG. I’m a huge fan of his. Both squat huge numbers in my weight class–deep, with beautiful form. As a PLer, my favorite lift is squat, so I’m always looking to the 82.5 kg competitors like these guys for inspiration.
