Meanwhile in Russia …
Aleksey Lovchev does some GPP training with Kettlebell Throws.
He launched the 32kg into low earth orbit. Here is what happened when it re-entered earth’s atmosphere.

I thought it looked fun and gave it a go on my (active) rest day.
Here are my tries with 16kg.

Looks fun! Although, could see these going terribly wrong in my klutzy hands, resulting in a concave skull. Might try them with a 12kg and make sure there are no other living creatures in the vicinity. I have those exact NB minimus trainers, great deadlifting shoes.
Gregor says
Don’t forget to film it. “Concave Skull Lisa” would make for a great debut in a failarmy compilation 😛
And yes, I love my NB minimus too. One of the better purchases I made last year. I don’t use them for Deadlifts (and obviously not for squats), but basically for everything else.
Lisa says
I’ll make a note in my will that the video should be published posthumously.
Definitely, they’re a great all-round shoe, I use them for everything bar squatting and weightlifting. You can sometimes get decent deals on some of the older models on sportsshoes.com.

Russian Space Program – Mr. Alexei Lovchev
Sending objects into low orbit has never been easier.

Gregor, presenting his ripped body to the public. Like a boss.
