Best of Olympic Weightlifting
That was indeed a WTF. New meaning for “squat clean”.
i was like, ‘what’s a WTF?’ ooooh, i see.
That was a phenomenal WTF.
I doubt most people realize the strength and technique required to perform such a stunt. This young man is a trained weightlifter with close to a 190 C&J.
I can already smell the max-effort WOD genius mentality going all crazy on the WTF-to-Sots, haha. Just hope there are some Youtube videos when that happens.
Don’t be so negative.
I am sure no one here underestimates what a feat of strength this is. And if it gets some people to try and challenge themselves, the better.
Didn’t mean to be negative, but I understand your remark.
I’m sure most ATG readers are quite aware of the skills this feat requires. I was referring to the “uneducated” (for the lack of a better word) masses in the iron world who are not. My opinion is that this movement should only be attempted by those with a solid grounding on WL or at least cleaning and pressing.
Apologies if my comment came across as too harsh.
Challenge accepted.
