I wonder if we see him again on international stage… As an athlete who was caught on OG it might not be any sense for him to continue his weightlifting career as he might now be allowed to compete on OG again…

Does that rule only apply to weightlifting or to every sport? Because, as an example, Ivan Tsikhan was allowed to compete in Rio after being catched in the 2004 reanalysis.

That provision, the so-called “Osaka rule”, does not currently exist. It was overturned in 2011.
Also it wasn’t about failing a test at the Olympics only, but having been sanctioned for more than 6 months regardless of when/why/where.
