Meanwhile at the 2016 Russian Championships…
Artem Okulov and Apti Aukhadov had a close battle in the in 85kg class yesterday. Artem took the lead in the snatch by 1kg so during the clean and jerk Apti had to follow Artem’s attempts by 2kg to try and secure gold. It is very likely that both will be picked for the Russian Rio team.
