Iranian national weightlifting team is a mess. Behdad is apparently afraid of conflict between him and the federation and chance he gets positive drug tested! Do not ask me why he thinks so but he repeated that claim in Iranian TV. I am not sure we will see in in the worlds or 2014 Asian games.

he said that in a live TV show, you can find that in youtube but it’s in Persian. he said he is afraid “they” frame him for doping like what they did for Saeid Alihosseini. but as I said this is from long time ago, they changed the coach and now he is back to the national team.
This is old, from few months ago, he is now in the national camp training with the rest.

Salimi writes on instagram that the the green ones are 50 kg plates. Must be custom made for them as I do not think they are commercially available..
I know Ivanko makes green 50kg plates and I think Eleiko made green 50kg plates at one time

You can also see them in old competitions, e.g. Alexeyev’s then-WR 255kg C&J at the Montreal Olympics.
I don’t know when exactly, but AFAIR they were abandoned because they change/reduce the bar whip.

Eleiko currently make a black 50kg bumper for paralympic benching. Salimi is probably using old green Eleikos.
