Preparation for the Backyard Meet
People are preparing for the November 3rd’s Backyard Meet. Eric Spoto 306kg (675 lbs) x 1 Paused Bench Pete Rubish deadlifts 342.5kg for 3 singles. He is definitely going for 800lbs in the meet. Stan Efferding pulls 378.75kg (835 lbs) but loses grip at the top. Well, and you already saw Dan Green’s top form.

Men’s 90kg London 2012 Paralympics Powerlifting
The ParalympicSportTV Channel starts to upload some of the London 2012 Powerlifting events. Here for example is the Men’s 90kg. Egypt’s Hany Abdelhady took it with 241kg (attempt at 42:00). 8kg more than the second. Men’s 90kg A Group Men’s 90kg B Group Tomorrow there will be the 100kg and +100kg categories. Going to be exciting.

Another World Record went down in the London 2012 Paralympics Powerlifting. This time Liu Lei of China (67.5kg category) bench pressed 226kg. Up 1.5kg from his last world record.
