Meanwhile at the Junior Worlds…
New Junior World Weightlifting Champion Clarence Cummings (69kg, USA) just had a perfect session, lifting 6 out of 6, winning 2 Golds and taking home 2 new Youth World Records (plus 8 American Records).
He finished with 137kg/180kg/317kg.
The old youth clean and jerk world record was 173kg set by Firudin Guliyev (Azerbaijan), which was broken by Clarence on his second attempt with 175kg, and 312kg set by Jawad Mohammed Kadhum Karrar Mohammed (Iraq), which was broken on Clarence’s third attempt with 180kg.

Such a ridiculously awesome lift. Finally brought it all together for that special performance. Would love to see the entire session but looks like it is blocked in the US

As USa has got one olympic spot he should go. He is better joice than Farris or any other lifter who at best can end up in the middle of B group. They could put him in A group to shoot for 315 -320 total and gain experience for Tokio.

Considering that C.J. has a few flaws in his snatch and clean pulls he is doing very well.
