Clarence Kennedy 200kg Clean (and 160kg Snatch Miss)

November 23, 2012 By Gregor Winter

Clarence Kennedy is in Poland preparing for the Junior Europeans.

He put up 345kg as his entry total.

Here he hits a 200kg Clean after missing 160kg on the Snatch.

Does that training hall look familiar?

Update: Read his Interview on ATG.

Looks like it. Last time he commented here he said that Pawel Najdek is coaching him.

Seems he over pulled both snatch and clean like he might have another 5 kg in both lifts.

fantastic.. he said in an interview before that he was interacting with pawel. didn’t know that he was gonna train in “that” hall !! He maybe on the verge of something historic for his country in the years to come!!

some lifters do that, I notice it also of aramnau, and both these guys have tremendous jerks.
Maybe there’s an advantage ( Perhaps more potential energY storage in the legs to receiving the weight from a greater height) maybe not. But as long as it’s not red-ighted I wouldn’t say it’s too high.
