Dmitry Klokov 191kg Thruster

October 26, 2014 By Gregor Winter

Meanwhile in Australia …

Dmitry Klokov PRs his Thruster with 191kg (watch 190kg here) at one of his Seminars.

And as he said in his latest interview:

You can’t train like I do and push around weights like 240kg. you just can’t, but Snatching 190, that’s not really a problem”

Here’s a 190kg Snatch

Ahh, now I get why I have such difficulty getting in the full squat position early in the morning. I’m tight not just because I got out of bed, but because I haven’t shaven yet!

Tomorrow’s headline: “Sudden and unexplainable shortage of razors and razor blades affects all main retailers in the west”.
How much are these people paying for this exquisite shaving advice?

WTF, WTF!!! How did Klokov not lose his mind right that very moment!?!

It looked horrendous, but it’s also rather impressive to get 105 kg or so above your head with that technique.

krasavhcik, haha. It is indeed impressive, but daaamn, I mean, daaaaamn, I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. The “clean” wa sthg, but the “push jerk” from that “rack position”, oh no he didnt!!!

I’m surprised he didn’t fall, bending backwards like that while pressing the weight.

can anyone explain what is going on at 11:30 on the second video?

It looks like graston. I’m not sure why you would need your jaw muscles “grastoned” though.

Jaw muscles have strong leverage on the neck and if they’re excessively tight can have effects to the shoulder and beyond.

I’m assuming this was in response to Kevin Cornell calling him out on instagram re: thrusters? :badteeth:
