Today in All Things Klokov: Stiff Legged Snatch Grip Deficit Deadlift.
225kg x5 with his proprietary staggered stance.
In a later video he explained why he uses this staggered stance.
“When you’re about to execute the first pull, you must focus on keeping your entire foot flat on the floor” But due to his anatomy, he cannot place them in parallel, as the weight shifts from his heel” (Thanks to Vadim Pakhutkin for the translation)

klokov clearly has the genetics to do all sorts of crazy stuff without getting injured, but this might take the cake. there’s pretty much text-book ‘what not to do with your lower back when lifting… anything.’
Gregor says
It’s not a how to video. It is about pushing what’s possible for the human body.
dan says
yup. there’s still plenty of hamstring and glute pull there though. hes obviously fine
jake says
Has Klokov ever explained why he uses the staggered stance?
Gregor says
He just said that it feels more comfortable this way. Just a habit.
Roberto Aguilar says
Somebody told me that some athletes do this because of small anatomy asymmetries in their bodies
