Following his Klokov Press video here is a Jerk Complex by Dmitry Klokov also with 125kg.
Looks like a nice warm up drill for him.
- Power Clean
- Strict Press
- Strict Press to Split Jerk x2
- Push Press
- Paused Dip Jerk
Update: Reader Soiren comments that:
I believe it can be called “Jerk Drops” or “Jerk Balance” in English. Kinda like Snatch Drops/Balances.
It is supposed to be a warm-up drill (with quite a light weight) to finish pushing in jerk, moving fast into catch and ingraining good positions under (pretty good one actually).
1-2 sets of those with just a barbell before jerk practice are staple in my warming-up routine, give it a try.

What’s with those weird press-split-jerks?

Yeah I will have to give them a go, I am terrible at jerks. It looks like he presses it high enough to be able to split under.

You see Klokov doing these warming up back to 2005.

Even at the lighter weight his back leg is almost fully extended.
What do yall think about this? I know this is klokov and he gets away with it but is it something he should work on?
SRWG says
I think it’s a bit late for him to radically change his jerk technique. Different strokes for different folks

Something he should work on? ahahahaah oh man….. :/

His back leg isn’t always so extended. It’s still pretty solid looking. I think this drill is more about speed under the bar too. He is getting that weight in the slot every time. I see what you’re pointing at though. Over-extension can really hasten your recovery and shift it too far forward.
