According to ChiNADA 2011 world champion, 2013 national games champion, Tian Yuan tested positive for Trimetazidine.
Trimetazidine is an anti-ischemic (anti-anginal) metabolic agent, which improves myocardial glucose utilization through inhibition of fatty acid metabolism, also known as fatty acid oxidation inhibitor.
That sounds a lot like meldonium (anti-ischemia). Pretty stupid, but also not potent. Strange either way.
Tian was basically gone after the 2014 AG bomb so this doesn’t really matter either way, but I don’t think it’s connected to her absence.
Also Tan Yayun won the NG.
The other WL name on the 2016 list is 2013 W69 Junior world champ Wang Xinyue for clenbuterol.
2015 has four names, one for clenbuterol (W69 Ye Jiao) and three nobodies for what I assume means steroids. The WADA testing figures for that year list 5 AAFs from Chinada.
