This article (I think) says the world team will be
62 Askari
69 J Behrouzi
77 Taghian
85 Rostami
94 Hashemi + Moradi (was 94.7 here)
105 Nasirshelal
+105 Salimi + Moulaei
No Bagheri at 105 though he was better than Nasirshelal. It also says that Ali Moradi (IRIWF president) is flying to Budapest to argue the the Moradi reinstatement.

This says something about Rostami and 220, he cleaned it?
David Oliveira says
That list has 9 men. Probably in the 94’s will be Hashemi or Moradi, depending on Moradi’s situation.
Shame about Mohamadpour. He didn’t enter any international competition in the last two years, and with this injury he won’t be back in time even for the President’s Cup. I don’t know if there’s any competition that he can enter apart from 2016 Asian Championships, but this probably means the end of his Olympic challenge.
PJ says
Rostami wanted to try 220kg in his last attempt but coach Tavakoli didn’t let him.
btw they didn’t pick Emad Bagheri because he is not training in national camp and most importantly because he is Kourosh Bagheri’s nephew.
Sohrab Moradi with 95kg bodyweight did compete at 105kg only because of his club. despite being unmotivated he missed 189kg in snatch and didn’t try for more in CJ. his last attempt was 239kg but he didn’t try that. (probably a little scared after Mohammadpour’s accident)
MMpour got injured while he was trying 190kg, he had no problem with 180 and 185 and looked in a very good shape.
Sina S says
correct.
no Rostami even did not try that.
Den says
Behdad clearly pressed out those 245

Victor says

wlift84 says

the 85 C&J is here: http://www.telewebion.com/en/1354594/Premier-League-Weightlifting-country-Tehran-94-7-23/Visit.html
Victor says
Really? He made weight for this competition? Does he not want to be at his best in Houston?
Gregor says
In Almaty last year he mentioned that he doesn’t go over over 85 by a lot. The 220kg clean & jerks he did in training were at 85 too, he said.
Tom Bennett says
he’s incredible.
psal137 says
very sad about mohammadpour
Magneto says
Indeed … that was hard to watch and looked really really painful. Get well soon, Mr. “Slowest First Pull Ever” Mohammadpour!
PJ says
This is official now, Iran will host a Grand Prix early in 2016 which means both Moradi and Mohammadpour can participate in that tournament and Asian Championship to be cleared for Rio. beside that they are still trying to convince IWF to let Moradi be in Houston.
