Remember the video of the then 14 year old Khetag Khugaev (174kg Clean from Blocks)?
In July he lifted in the 2013 Summer Spartakiad in Russia.
He won the 85kg (lifting at 81.3kg bodyweight) with a 150kg Snatch and 169kg Clean & Jerk.
… 150 at 15, 160 at 16, …
Update 06.09: Khetag won Gold in the U17 Europeans 85kg. 150+176.
Also check out other young guns:

~12kg bw gain in a year, must be growth spurting.
Mr. Snugglesworth says
and he still looks thin, maybe a future 105, 105+
Steven says
My sarcasmmeter is off the charts!!! Think about it, i could not even do a 60kg bench at that age …
Patrolling says
nah bro, I was being serious. 3 years he’s going to be on the international stage, I can’t wait.
Leon says
Does anyone know how tall he is? I also guess he will get heavier. If he stays in the sport he might win a lot some day.
Liro says

I just can’t understand how can a 15 yo can do that, I mean what kind of traing? steroids? or wtf I mean if he can do it then I can achive it.
rhys says
Thats the thing… a 15yo cant normally do it. hes a freak of nature. thats another reason why you cant achieve it.
liro says
first of all: there are 15 yo that are way more mature than others; then off course in the age around 14 you can train your muscles very good (even if its very bad for your body) and you could take some extra stuff (i mean tatjana kashirina used it too with 15). and the last point: i dont know if he is really 15. i mean, like apti aukhadov, are there any informations on his achievments before the age of 14?
Steven says
I hope he will still be motivated when he gets older.

And dodges serious injuries.

“Khetag got bronze…”. Why bronze? He’s got gold…
Gregor says
Ooops, mistake. Fixed. Thanks.
grobpote says
He’s like Ilya or like Kolecki was. Very early gets mature and wins almost everything before turning 20. But at the age of 26-27 he will probably retire because who comes early – goes early as well. Ilya won’t go on until his 5th olympics – as he- sad either. I wish he would.Or could.
