Li Yajun (53kg) 105kg Snatch (Unofficial World Record)

Meanwhile in China at the National Games …

Li Yajun (53kg) set an unofficial World Record in the Snatch.

She lifted 101kg, 103kg, 105kg surpassing Li Ping’s 103kg World Record mark.

In the Clean & Jerk she lifted 122kg (see the 131kg C&J WR by Zulfiya Chinshanlo here).

Other Lifters Shown:

  • Li Yan with 101+121
  • Zhang Wanqiong 98+123
  • Li Ping (failing 99 at 1:00)

    Great performance and great event. I attended the 2009 National Games in Jinan – nice memories.

    In that video we also see Li Yan with 101+121 (2nd) and Zhang Wanqiong with 98+123 (3rd). Additionally Li Ping (failing 99 at 1:00), Ji Jing and Chen Xiaoting bombed in the C&J. Chen equaled the WR with 103 as well.
    According to Ma Jianping Li Ping is retired now so I think this was her last competition.
