From the 2014 Asian Games …
Mariya Grabovetskaya from Kazakhstan is one of the few women who can snatch 140+kg. During the +75kg session she basically “powered” all her lifts.
141kg Snatch + 161 Clean & Jerk at 117.33kg Bodyweight.
Certainly one of the heaviest Power Snatches by a woman.

I remember watching the live feed and other than Zhou Lulu’s 192 Jerk, Mariya’s 141 power snatch and 161 powerclean and jerk was what impressed me. It looked like her right hand or wrist was injured. I don’t know of any other 75+ lifter that can powersnatch 141. When she’s healthy she’ll do some damage.

She’s definitely got the power.

that is very impressive but when you look at her profile and she is 27… Not to be too cynical here but what’s wrong with this picture if she is 27 and competes at the highest level and his doing power snatches/cleans on the competition platform? Makes me wonder if she has mobility problems or something else…

Her knees were heavily wrapped and it looked like she had some kind of rock tape running down to her patellas, my money is on a knee injury.

Yep, Beijing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bp5EoyR40EE
She was also going only to parallel in 2005 (9:00): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-fhdKECeL8
I don’t think this is an acute injury. Either chronic but managable, or it’s just her technique.
Also worth of note: 141 would’ve been a WR just three years ago.

Very powerful but she looks unstable. Notice how her knees wobble in the snatch and in the power clean. Lifter without leg injuries and very strong legs do not shake in the same fashion. Her knees look like they hurt and if she seems incapable of going lower lest she aggravates her knees, specially the patellas. Maybe is just for the short term but if this is a permanent injury, she will be giving away to many kilos to be really effective at that level. Definitely has a world class pull which maybe overcompensating for weak legs or inability to fully flex her knees.
