break bar from floor using leg power, preserving hip hinge until bar is 6 inch off the floor. At that point they engange the hip hinge and they have a nice smooth finish.
‘Bad’ deadlifters take the easy start for the difficult finish.
Which reminds me of the way Misha deadlifts, almost squatting the weight up the first centimeters.
