    It would be an incredible shame to see lifters like her and Kydyrbaev go out for life. Such talents and both of them still so young.

      I honestly thought I’d see a day when Kydrybaev takes Illyin’s records in the 94. My first impression of him was in Almaty when he was just so young and so powerful. He did 408; Ilyin has only exceeded 408 once as a 94. I believed he’d have 185+234 by Rio and dominate the 94’s for some time. I thought he was starting out fresh and powerful; I did not know he had been suspended before and was on his last lifeline.
