Can you pass the P-Bars Man Test?
Jason Khalipa from CrossFit Santa Clara / Mountain View has a little challenge for you.
The Parallel Bars Man Test [wmv] [mov]
It is a reverse ladder, 30 dips and some PBs walks. It looks the following:
5 dips, PBs walk forward, 5 dips, PBs walk backwards
4 dips, PBs walk forward, 4 dips, PBs walk backwards
3 dips, PBs walk forward, 3 dips, PBs walk backwards
2 dips, PBs walk forward, 2 dips, PBs walk backwards
1 dips, PBs walk forward, 1 dips, PBs walk backwards
Update: Here is a comment from Christopher Sommer:
Hardly a man test; but a nice variation for those with beginning to low intermediate levels of support strength. A more reasonable challenge of advanced support strength would be to do the same thing inverted with HS walks and HSPU on the PBs.
Neat idea, but … I wonder if he can even do the dip version.
