Looks like somebody uploaded Mr. Olympia Phil Heath’s Becoming Number 13 DVD to YouTube.
Still not a fan of the grotesque shapes. But if you are a fan of bodybuilding documentaries you should not skip this one. Gotta admire the passion this guy brings to the table.

He seems to be doing mostly half-movements anyway.
I wonder if it is done on purpose (e.g. not to stretch the muscles to much), or just sloppy, or just because training is not that important and the growth stimuli comes from other things.

I know for arm movements like bench press it’s done on purpose to keep (and fully maintain) tension on the pecs (and locking out doesn’t do much in terms of their goals iirc). Not so sure on partial squats..

most bodybuilders lift with horrendous form but they’re focused on hypertrophy and not being powerful so whatevs. low weight, high reps, time under tension, etc, etc. coming from someone who used to be concerned with having big muscles. sorry guys
