Update: ATG now has its own Rep Max Calculator.
Android: Rep Max Calculator is an easy way to determine a RM in the 1-12 range.
Yes, yes, I know, real men & women do test true RMs, but it is still fun to geek out about rep maxes when nobody is looking, right?
Get it here: Google Play
Price: Free
Features
- Available Rep Max Formulas: Epley, Brzycki, Lander, Lombardi, Mayhew et al., O’Conner et al., Wathan and an option to take the average of them all

The app itself works flawless. However as you might have guessed these formulas will only five you a rough estimate, since they do not distinguish between exercises / bodyweight.
The degree of accuracy can vary largely depending on the weight training experience and muscular composition of the athlete.
For me Brzycki comes closest for Squat, Deadlift & Bench (although Epley although came close). For Press O’Conner et al was the most accurate.
I don’t know of a comparable iPhone app, but you guys can try strstd.com (which is always overly optimistic when it comes to my predicted maxes).
Try it yourself and use with caution.
