At this years Arnold Classics Richard Hawthorn (610 lbs x4 @130 lbs) gave a quick deadlift instruction.
- weight on heels
- lean back get the slack out of the bar
- once the bar gets to the knees push the hips forward
- he advocates against the hip hinge
Can’t argue with that. It obviously works great for his body type.

What do you mean about not advocating the hip hinge? Going straight up? it looked exactly the same to me. I’m still a newb tho..
