Tatiana Kashirina Heart of a Champion

May 11, 2016 By Gregor Winter

Back in March a Russian TV channel featured a Tatiana Kashirina special.

ATG über translator Sergey watched it and made some notes:

The first half is how she came into weightlifting. Started with dance, checked out the closed weightlifting room, lifted 20kg bar, faced rejection by parents, left them because of that to live in athletic camp.

She spent time with coach’s family after problems with parents.

The last third is how classmates made fun of her because of weightlifting and how she doesn’t have a boyfriend currently and dedicates everything to the sport.

If you speak Russian and have additional notes, please leave a comment.

For more detailed info about Tatiana’s life and training, check out the Tatiana Kashirina Interview Translations and the Check In a year later.

LOL China should send a guy to be her boyfriend. Keeps her up all night and asks her to go dating during her training sessions. Next comp, she shows up with 3 hours of sleep and goes 120+145 LOL Meng Suping for gold! I jest, I jest.
