That leg strength is disgusting! He stood up with the 220 exactly like how he did with 210

were these domestic meets? Why does he keep writing WR next to the lifts when none of them are official?
Victor says
I think so. When someone tries to break the WR by 10kg without that WR being his, you can be pretty sure it’s at a meet where he can’t set WRs, so probably a domestic comp. LOL

He won the Europeans at 2011 in the 69 class

Actually, in 2011 he was suspended at the same time as Lapikov for a postive test and yet his EWC results remain (unlike Lapikov’s). It was an IC sanction so it has to be the EWC test since he only competed once that year.
What’s even weirder is that it was his second ban after the one from the 2003 WWC and yet he only got two years in 2011.

amazing lifts nonetheless. I’m a bit suprised that he never achieved anything close to that in competition. http://www.chidlovski.net/liftup/l_athleteStatsResult.asp?a_id=363 best cj in competition is apparently 200kg.

Unless someone can link to some documentation I don’t believe he was 77 for those 210-220-222 lifts. We only have a few guys at 85 with cleans in that region (Zhang, Vanev, Okulov, Tian…) and even the pre-mandatory testing record from the 80s was “only” 215.
