For 110kg Clean & Jerker Glenn suggests:
- 3 or 4 singles, or couple of doubles @40-50kg
- 1 or two singles @70kg, then singles @80,90,100kg
- from there see how you feel that day, use common sense, 104, 107,111kg
Why lifts from the hang feel easier:
- above the knee is easier – entire posterior chain is at top tension, back lever arm is at its longest
- below the knee can move more weight – longer time to accelerate the bar
