I wonder ho much he weights normally. He is pretty high 1.62 cm in comparison to Long, who seemed huge in Rio.
Maybe it would be best for Wu to go into 62 kg class. However I don’t think he could cj anything more than 175kg so Chen Lijun would be hard to beat.

But then, the question is: Can Chen stay at 62? IIRC, the reason he bombed out from Rio was cramps from an excessive weight cut.

Good point! Maybe this is the plan… But can Chen match Shi:)
Realist says
Can’t be. If he intended to go up to 62, he should/needs to improve by much more than 1 kg or 2. 144 ain’t shit when you have Kim UnGuk waiting to go next. Wu is just unlucky like Kolokov. Some mentioned that Klokov would kill it if there was a 110kg weight class instead of 105, then 105+. Wu would be much better off it there was a 58 or 59kg class instead of 56. He trains at a very ripped 60kg and he’s just too small for 62, too large for 56.

If you know he trains at 60 kg maybe training at 64-65 kg will give him 150+ snatch… But his cj is too weak I think to be first (unless others have cramps or test positive:))
