I think long limbs olympic weightlifters should change sports to for example , tracks and field or any other better weight lever sports for long limbs , olympic weightlifting sports is for short limbs athletes , disadvantage and injury risk is too much for long limbs olympic weightlifters .

Take note Talakhadze!

105+ has no weight restriction, dont think weight lever disadvantage matter much

With that logic we would have never seen Vardanyan lift… Just one example. There will always be exceptions to the rule and that is fine with me, it only makes sport or whatever other field more interesting.

if you love the sport then do it, but everyone need to know weight lever advantage and disadvantage
hideout says
not about logic but love
Ivan Bista says
Well yes, that’s true. Me myself having longer limbs, although not extremelly, I find it more difficult and I would love to train and lift with better proportions suited for wl just for a month. That’d be something.
But if you love the sport… I would NEVER trade wl for anything else now, and I played basketball before. Obviously I am not a high profile athlete trying to compete and win medals against all these asian lifters with shorter limbs and longer torsos, but I can barely imagine for example these south americans not loving the sport at least like I do if not more!
This is not football, people are not in it for money, in general, or fame. At least not from the beginning.

you are right, excuse my native tongue not being English
