Meanwhile in China at the 2013 Chinese National Games …
After we saw Li Yajun unofficial Snatch world record here is 21 year old Yue Kang with another fantastic performance.
She lifted 130kg in the Snatch and 160kg in the Clean and Jerk for a new Chinese national record.
By the way, this would have also won this years Europeans, and would have gotten silver in the 2011 Worlds.
Her Competition History
- 2011 Junior World Champion in the 69kg (113+131)
- 6th at the 2011 Worlds 75kg, lifting at 72.72kg (116+135)
- 2010 Worlds Silver Medalist in the 69kg (113+140)
- 2010 Junior World Champion in the 69kg (111+140)

Do you have full length videos for the 53, 58, 63, 69, and 75 kg categories?

Chinese TV only seems to have put out the 48s, part of the 53CJ and now the supers. The National games are held once every 4 years and they are like a national olympics with the full complement of sports to cover, so maybe that’s why. I have some other results: Deng Wei won the 58s with about 107/132, definitely not PRs. 63s were won with far less expected after Ouyang had an elbow dislocation on a 114 snatch. 69s I have no results. 75 as listed in this post. 75+ Olympic Champ Zhou Lulu beats Meng Suping with a decent total, I don’t think any PRs or WRs.

The injury in the 63 looked horrible. Almost like a fracture. Would not watch again.

You can find the 69kg results here: http://results.liaoning2013.com.cn/Info2013/html/zh-cn/pages/CRS/LiveResult.htm?Type=ByID&DisciplineCode=WL&EventCode=WLW005&ScheduleCode=WLW005000&ReportDataID=110239

Thanks. I don’t know how to pronounce the winner of the 69s. Xiang Yanmei led in the snatch and lost the total on bodyweight. The elbow injury in the 63s looked bad but Ouyang Xiaofang was able to walk off with help rather than the stretcher treatment. She is 31 and was living in a dorm room as of last year, with the younger women. I wonder if we will ever see her again.

W69 was won by Xie Hongli with a monstrous 9kg jump to 154 on her last C&J attempt. She only came in third in the 2014 Nationals so she didn’t make AG/WWC teams behind Xiang and Chen. However she easily won the 75 category of the last President’s Cup in Russia, just slightly over 69 bw.
W63 was Deng Mengrong after the mentioned injury of Ouyang and bombs by Guan Xinlei and Zhou Wenyu who had equal prospects.
