Could he lift as a 105 at the WWC? KAZ has at least three very good 94s but no second very good 105.
Alexei says
maybe, but wouldn’t he currently be a contender for gold? I dont think they would want to mess with that just a year prior to the competition.
wlift84 says
Yes, but so is Sedov. Last year they only fought themselves.

ilya is in the 105. and he is pretty good
wlift84 says
u w0t m8? Ilyin won’t be at the WWC and I wrote second 105.

Wow,this guy’s gonna break the world record. It seems the Russians won’t have the answer in the 94’s yet again.I don’t think he would go up in the 105 kgs. He’s got a clear way to the top of the podium in the 94 kgs.

Kazakhstan wins the 94kg class year in year out everytime since 2006. If Kydyrbayev moves up, it will be a good way to keep this funny pattern LOL
wlift84 says
Erm, KAZ didn’t win in 2007, 2010 & 2013.
David Oliveira says
That’s the point 😉
2006: Kazakh winner
2007: Other
2009: Kazakh winner
2010: Other
2011: Kazakh winner
2013: Other
2014: Kazakh winner
2015: If Kydyrbayev moves up, it’s up for grabs!
Edit: Erm…sorry. I just took notice that I misused the expression “year in year out”. Now it’s more explicit.
