Stumbled across this slopy grip training toy. Tickle me GripMo.
Looks like fun, but it comes at a hefty $140. So much for that.
I like the idea of using odd objects to challenge your grip. But I would probably settle for the Elite FTS Grenades or the good ol’ DIY baseball pull up grips.
So the moral of the story is: Look around you and see if you can improvise and build training equipment yourself (or know somebody who’s got the skills).
Do you have a DIY grip training tool? I’d love to see it.

I've been using binder clips as grip tools for individual fingers and multiple rubber bands to work the extensors.

Oh and this is not an original idea. Ed Coan gave that tip to Dave Tate.

Never tried using binder clips. Do they provide enough resistance?
+1 to working on extensors. Often neglected.

For individual fingers? They wreck them. You can (try) holding them closed for time or you can go for reps. Plus the clips come in different sizes so the smaller you go the harder it is.

Sounds awesome. I have to get me some binder clips then. Thanks

I wrap rubber bands around the wire handles to give a bit of cushion. Otherwise it gets kind of painful on the flesh of the fingers. Best of all they're cheap! I use these when speaking to my boss all the time. Haha.

I've got a powerball – spinning gyroscope that gets faster 'til your grip can't take it. At ~£15, it's not bad.

Yeah, I used to have one of those back when I was bouldering and training for climbing.
